Fleet Maintenance

Con-way’s two freight operating companies, Con-way Freight (LTL) and Con-way Truckload/CFI provide one of the most comprehensive asset-based transportation networks in North America. Con-way Freight’s people deliver the industry’s leading less-than-truckload (LTL) freight transportation company, providing regional, inter-regional and national guaranteed LTL service through a single integrated network. The 2007 addition of CFI to the Con-way Truckload organization gives transportation professionals another great career path within the Con-way organization. CFI’s team has provided customers with service, professionalism, reliability and safety as part of our culture for more than 50 years.

Con-way’s fleet maintenance personnel directly contribute to the success of the company by overseeing the regular and preventive maintenance of all fleet equipment to ensure superior service to our customers. With a fleet of more than 9,000 LTL tractors and 3,000 truckload tractors, coupled with over 25,000 LTL trailers, 10,000 truckload trailers and our operating network of 460 operating locations, there is no shortage of opportunities for qualified fleet maintenance candidates. If you demonstrate knowledge in troubleshooting, repair procedures and preventive maintenance of fleet equipment; are self-sufficient; and practice regulatory compliance, safety and fleet standards, then you may be a good fit for our fleet maintenance team.

Con-way fleet maintenance careers provide safe, reliable and roadworthy equipment that presents a positive image and enables our drivers to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
